St Mary's Hospital Centre selects MediSolution's BI and FMS suites

CBR Staff Writer Published 12 January 2009

MediSolution, a provider of enterprise resource planning services, has announced that St Mary's Hospital Centre has selected its Virtuo Financial and Materials Management and Virtuo Business Intelligence suites. The integrated service will be implemented at St Mary's within the next six months.

According to MediSolution, the Virtuo Financial Management suite (FMS) is a system for organizations requiring an integrated and decentralized financial and procurement system. The Virtuo Business Intelligence (BI) system turns data into web-based dashboards and scorecards allowing managers to track key performance indicators to identify trends.

MediSolution has said that the system will provide St Mary's with the ability to manipulate data and use OLAP cubes to drill down on specific data elements to examine the underlying reasons for certain variances and other analytics to implement appropriate action. Virtuo Business Intelligence services are deployed using Microsoft's BI services including Microsoft SQL Server.

The combined integrated FMS and BI system will also provide St Mary's with budget availability status as well as access to a web-based financial information portal. The portal will allow St Mary's managers to access multi-dimensional views of all aspects of the organization's financial picture as well as track performance of key financial related indicators.

Paul Lepage, president and CEO of MediSolution, said: We strive to offer solutions that empower our customers to optimize operational efficiencies, lower costs and improve the delivery of services to their customers and suppliers. We are delighted to have St Mary's join our growing base of ERP customers.
