Stonefield Software introduces new business intelligence reporting tool

CBR Staff Writer Published 24 August 2010

Eliminates IT bottlenecks by creating a self-service reporting offering for the casual user

Stonefield Software has introduced its newest version of business intelligence (BI) and reporting software Query Version 4.0 for Sage Accpac. The new version eliminates IT bottlenecks by creating a self-service reporting offering for the casual user.

The company said that the version 4.0 for Accpac provides a new 'application view', which makes creating ad hoc queries and custom reports much simpler, and enables users to see the data in the same way as it is presented in the application.

In addition, by using Query Version 4.0 user needs to do is select which fields they want and the tool will do the rest, including filtering, ordering, and sorting of records, with a few clicks using the built in wizard.

The new tool comes with a generic reporting software like Crystal Reports, which understands database design, structures, relationships, joins, and SQL commands, the company said.

Stonefield Software chief executive officer Mickey Kupchyk said that they believe that Stonefield Query for Accpac is the first Business Intelligence reporting software that provides this application view.

"Now, the casual user can create custom Accpac reports themselves in minutes and without spending time and money on training," Kupchyk said.
